If you’re looking for something a bit different for a party, be it children, adults, families or work groups, why not try one of our chocolate making parties? Ideal for chocoholics of all ages this is no ordinary party where you just get to try a bit of chocolate. This is a hands on experience, turning your home into a mini chocolate factory for a few hours, where each guest creates their own unique chocolates to take home.

Children’s Parties

Each child will make and decorate their own solid milk chocolate shapes, which are packaged and presented beautifully in a chocolate bowl for them to take home – so no need for a party bag!

The party will last from 2-3 hours, which includes a break of approximately 30 minutes whilst the chocolate is setting when they can have lunch or tea.

We regret that due to the nature of the parties, it is not possible to take bookings for groups of children where all are under the age of 8.

Parties for adults

As with the children, each guest will decorate and make their own chocolates, however the grown ups get a bit more fun as they create delicious fresh cream truffles flavoured to their own taste. All flavourings, including alcohols, are provided. These parties last approximately 3 hours.

Teenage Parties

For the more mature children we are able to offer a half way option where guests make their own truffles but only non-alcoholic flavours are provided.

The Basics

Parties are held at your home or venue. All we need is a cool room with a table and power point. Table coverings, and where appropriate floor covering, is provided. Space in a cold fridge is useful, particularly during the warmer months. We will bring everything else that is needed, except the guests. This includes all ingredients, chocolate equipment, aprons and packaging. We will also remove any mess created during the party so that all you are left with is happy guests and lots of chocolate.

There is a minimum of 6 guests, and maximum of 12. We recommend start times of 11 am, to include the break over lunchtime or 3 pm to break at early tea time. However, we will fit in with you, and are also able to provide evening and after school parties.

As standard, the chocolates are made from good quality Belgian milk chocolate, and white chocolate for decorations, although we can substitute the milk for dark or white by prior arrangement. White chocolate is still necessary for the decorations stage.

In order to make it easier to pick up ideas and techniques, we will make a complete set of chocolates during the party, These are left behind for the host, as well as any chocolate which is left in the pot at the end.

Our basic packages include all chocolate and materials required, plus our travel costs to your venue up to 10 miles from Carrieres-Sur-Seine

A deposit of 20 is taken at the time of booking. This is refundable up to one week before the booking. Cancellations less than 7 days before the booking will result in a forfeit of the deposit.

Allergies

The milk and white chocolate we use contain milk and soya products.

Our kitchen uses nuts so we cannot guarantee that any chocolate will be completely nut free.
